GladeRock Festival 2009 cancelled
Sunday, 02 August 2009 18:50

Much to our regret we have to announce that the GladeRock Festival 2009 will not take place.

After a surprising and illegitimate denial of official approval at the original premises at the end of May, we rapidly had to search for a new location.

Until yesterday we tried with all our energy to make it possible to hold the event.

Eventually, the remaining time was just too short to realize a reasonable logistic and economical planning for the new location.

After a consultation with all our partners and our legal advisor we had to come to the conclusion that the financial risk to cling to holding the event is much bigger than if we pulled the emergency break at this point. Thus we decided to cancel the festival in order to plan a new start at the location Altes Lager (Jueterbog) in the long term.

We want to thank all the people who supported our project so far.

All purchased tickets can be returned and will be refunded.

Achtung: Neue Location

Dog Eat Dog @ GladeRock
Tuesday, 14 April 2009 06:44

DOG EAT DOG are going to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their All Boro Kings LP along with their fans this summer. In the mid-90ies, they triggered off a real boom of partyable crossover music. We still remember their 1995 Dynamo performance very lively, which was worth being released as Live-DVD by Universal in 2005.

The band was founded in 1989  in New Jersey in association with Mucky Pup. Thumb guitarrist Axel 'AXE' Hilgenstoehler has been a fixed band member and touring with them since 2007.Lead singer John Paul Luke Connor and his fellow band mebers are going to get you rocking at our 1st GladeRock Festival on Friday, Aug 7.

LIFE OF AGONY bestätigt
Friday, 03 April 2009 07:33

LIFE OF AGONY: If you ignore the creative break the crossover band  from NYC took between 1999 and 2003, then it's been an amazing 20 years that Life Of Agony managed to inspire their loyal supporters. With  their legendary River Runs Red debut LP which was published on Roadrunners Records in 1993, the band around lead singer Keith Caputo played their way directly into the hearts of numerous yougsters who finally felt understood in their feeling to be misunderstood.

It is a very special and personal pleasure to the GladeRock Festival Promoter's team to confirm LOA for the final Festival day on Sunday, Aug 09 2009.
