SIXXXTEN have already earned themselves some extra points, simply by the fact that they openly sympathize with Hamburg's best Football Club St. Pauli. The press release that announced the publication of their first long player in May 2009 promises: "A band that tastes like drinking beer from a can at a gas station, smells like cold sweat on your bleeding nose, and feels like a Hard Rock logo scribed into your skin. The foursome's influence is mainly punk but their sound is clearly affected by 70ies "Grand Rock" and the 80ies perverted preference for Synthi-Bombast sound as well as Oldschool Rap, turning them into a cultural bastard that is hard to curb.
